Wolfgang B. Jurkat

Professor Emeritus Wolfgang B. Jurkat passed away on January 7, 2017 in Ulm, Germany. He joined SU in 1957 and held the title of John Raymond French Professor of Mathematics from 1976 until his resignation in 1990. He initiated an exchange program under which Ulm graduate students study abroad, including at SU.
